Newest Handmade Plush- Soleil

This is my latest pikachu plush; Soleil. Her name origin is somewhat complicated, but I'll tell it anyway. I finished making her 3/30/12, so I guess you can call that her birthdate
Anyway, the day I finished her I was working at our school carnival, the theme being a circus. Knowing I had a perfectly new pikachu plush to take care of, I dressed Soleil up like a clown. I went as a mime for my Drama class. At this time she wasn't named, though my friends and family wanted to name her Kensington Chub or Benjamin Chub. But, I couldn't since the tail indicates a female pikachu. My mom instead came up with the name Soleil from Cirque du Soleil. In case you don't know, Soleil means "sun" in French. Considering Soleil is a shiny pikachu, I thought the name fit great.

The pattern I used to make Soleil is based off a pikachu plush I own (Yote), I'm not sure I can say "Pattern (c) me".... either way, it turned out very nicely, with only a few bugs I plan to fix when I make another. I'm hoping to make two at the same time so I can name one Benjamin and the other Kensington so they can be Chub brothers. I'm also considering making a patter tutorial, but it won't be for a while.. sorry :C.
